Boorloo's Under the Same Sun event showcased the exceptional talent of numerous Indigenous artists, with the esteemed West Australian Symphony Orchestra providing their support.
This extraordinary celebration acknowledged the valuable contributions of first nations artists in the music industry, featuring songs that revolved around themes of nature, nurture, mothers, and the sun.
The complimentary performance served as a stunning display of the diverse and vibrant voices of Indigenous artists, paying homage to the festival's Ngaangak theme, which translates to "sun" in the Noongar language.
Saturday night's lineup included numerous incredibly talented Indigenous artists, including Jess Hitchcock, Flewnt, Stephan Pigram, Emma Donavon, Maatakitj, Lou Bennett, Gina Williams, and Guy Ghouse.
The intimate closing weekend concert, which was free for all attendees, witnessed artists from different regions coming together, both within the country and across the globe, that created an unforgettable experience.
Additionally, notable artists who have always maintained a strong relationship with and support for the Indigenous community made appearances, such as musicians Paul Kelly and Goannas frontman Shane Howard.

Hitchcock showcased her exceptional talent with her celestial voice harmonising with Kelly's during their captivating duet. Another unforgettable moment resonated through the majestic gardens as Bennett delivered a stunning and haunting performance with her enchanting vocals.
Flewnt exuded high energy as he took the stage, appearing to thoroughly enjoy himself. Donavon meanwhile showcased her strong vocal range while also lending her voice for other artists.
Pigram demonstrated that his guitar and his harmonica were all he required to create a heartfelt moment, while Maatakitji put on a creditable watch with his electric guitar.
Last but not least William and her partner, Ghouse, performed together. Ghouse played the guitar while William sang in her native language.
The Under the Sun festival showcased the talents of Aboriginal musicians and emphasised the power of creative collaborations. It was further enhanced by the exceptional performances of renowned musicians, such as the West Australian Symphony Orchestra under the guidance of Festival Artistic Director Iain Grandage.
The festival provided a delightful musical experience that was enjoyed by the entire family.
