Early and mobile voting opens in Barkly Regional Council general election

Early and mobile voting in the 2024 Barkly Regional Council general election opened Monday and will be available over the next two weeks in the lead up to election day on 2 November.

Early voting centres are located at the Civic Hall Tennant Creek and the Northern Territory Electoral Commission office in Darwin.

NT Election Commissioner Kirsten Kelly said encouraged Barkly Regional Council residents to plan when and where they will be voting.

"Electors wanting more information can contact the NT Electoral Commission office on 1800 698 683 for assistance" she said.

Remote voting teams will visit 23 locations across the Barkly region over the next ten days.

Election day voting is at the Tennant Creek Civic Hall on Saturday 2 November from 8am to 6pm.
