There are many events planned across Western Australia for NAIDOC Week 2026.

In Boorloo / Perth, celebrating 50 Years of Deadly formally kicks off with a huge Opening Ceremony at 12pm, Sunday July 5, at Moort-ak Waadiny (Wellington Square), East Perth.

This free, family-friendly community celebration will feature a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, live music, traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dancers, community stalls, an Elders Tent, children's activities, food vans and much more. It wraps up at 4pm.

On Saturday, July 11, at Crown Burswood, the NAIDOC Perth Ball promises an unforgettable evening honouring the strength, resilience, achievements and rich cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The NAIDOC Perth Ball brings together community, leaders, organisations and supporters from across Western Australia for a night of culture, excellence and celebration featuring a prestigious awards presentation, live entertainment, premium dining and dancing. More information and ticket details can be found online.

Many more Boorloo / Perth NAIDOC Week events, north and south of the river, can be found on the NAIDOC Perth website.
