Art enthusiasts are in for a treat Saturday, 1 July, as the highly anticipated exhibition by Karen Napaljarri Barnes opens its doors at Kate Owen Gallery, which has brought Aboriginal art and culture to the world since 2007.
Renowned for her use of color and ability to capture the unique beauty of Australian fauna, Barnes' latest body of work promises to captivate audiences from all over.
From July 1st to July 23rd, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Barnes' creations, which showcase a charming mix of birds and other animals found in the Yuendumu region.

A statement from the Warlukurlangu artists said:
"Karen Napaljarri Barnes is extremely proud to be flying to Sydney to attend her solo exhibition next month.
"She is excited about riding in a helicopter, the opportunity to see boats on the harbour, and catching the ferry to the zoo.
"What makes her smile the most is that she will see a real tiger, her favourite animal. Karen supports the Richmond footy team. All she wants to wear on her holiday is animal print and the bright yellow and black of her beloved Tigers."
The exhibition opens this Saturday July 1st at 4pm.
