Hip-hop collective 3% and Butchulla Songman Fred Leone have released the music video for 'Not Many - Ganay Biralunbar', a reworking of Scribe's hit 2003 single 'Not Many'.

The release brings together 3%, Uncle Fred and Samoan rapper and Aotearoa hip-hop pioneer Scribe, who also appears in the Fox Sports-backed video.

'Not Many - Ganay Biralunbar' received its first radio play on triple j's Drive before making its television debut during Fox Sports' coverage of the NRL Broncos and Bulldogs game.

BIGSOUND audiences first heard the track during 3%'s secret Crowbar set, presented by Goolwal Goolwal, when Scribe emerged to perform alongside the group.

The original 'Not Many' spent 12 weeks at number one on the New Zealand singles chart and became the country's top single of 2003.

Uncle Fred opens the new version in Butchulla, a language in revitalisation, before yidaki replaces the original track's horn-led production.

The track sends Scribe's Aotearoa classic back across the Tasman with a First Nations voice and a shared message.

"One spear in the ground and we're sending the other to the cuzzies in Aotearoa as a sign of respect," Uncle Fred said.

"Because we fight the same fight."

The video opens at The Skillion on Darkinjung Country, with Uncle Fred playing yidaki beside a brother performing bilma.

It moves between Australia and Aotearoa, including footage of Nooky and Scribe performing at the Warriors and Panthers game.

Dallas Woods appears under stadium lights with the Provan-Summons Trophy, while the video uses rugby league to connect the song's cultural legacy across both countries.

Darumbal and Tongan artist Mi-kaisha's vocals run through the track, marking a major early release since she was formally announced as 3%'s newest member at BIGSOUND.

Nooky told National Indigenous Times Mi-kaisha had been part of the collective's live journey before stepping into the line-up.

"Mi-kaisha has always been a part of 3%; when we performed at the Opera House for the first time as a group, sis was there on stage with us, and again for Like A Version," Nooky said.

"Having Mi-kaisha brings a presence and energy we didn't have and it feels undeniably right.

"She carries that strong Blak woman power, energy and voice, and completes the full picture that is 3%."

Dallas Woods said Mi-kaisha's role also carried significance for women entering a male-dominated genre.

"To walk into a space and own it authentically takes more than just aura," he said.

"The more I learn about her music journey, the more I learn just how dedicated and hard-working she is, especially in her role as an artist and leader setting the standard.

"Even as an older artist, I can't help but follow her; she is Cinderella's slipper on stage, and knowing women can see representation in a male-dominated genre is why she is 3% to the core."

The release follows a major year for Uncle Fred, who won Artist of the Year at the 2026 NIMAs with Birdz for their joint EP 'GIRA'.

For 3%, it follows recent releases 'All Gucci' with The Terrys and 'Welcome 2 Country'.
