West Coast NGA academy graduate and 2024 debutant Tyrell Dewar has put pen to paper to remain an Eagle in a major list-securing effort at the club.

The 20-year-old, originally from Kalgoorlie, has signed for a one year extension through to the end of 2025 alongside emerging teammates Jack Williams, Harvey Johnston and Clay Hall - who each signed on until 2026.

"It was terrific to see Tyrell and Harvey make their debuts in consecutive matches and that exposure has given them a taste of the level they are striving to reach consistently," West Coast general manager of football Gavin Bell said.

Dewar made his AFL debut on the back of impressive WAFL form in round nine where he slotted a long-bomb in the Eagles loss to Collingwood.

He strung together consecutive appearances playing in both rounds of Sir Doug Nicholls Round - including his club's third win of the year upsetting Narrm by 35 points at home.

Recruited from Subiaco's colts WAFL setup, Dewar played all 18 of the Eagles' senior WAFL games in 2023 before pumping up his numbers to average 12 touches and a goal a game in the forward line across eight games towards earning AFL honours.
