18-year-old pre-season draft pick up and academy product Sienna Gerardi will make her "dream come true" with her AFLW debut for West Coast on Saturday afternoon.
Gerardi arrived on the Eagles' list with pick six of May's pre-season, days out from clubs beginning their preparations, and will now run out for the club against Brisbane in the round five clash at Mineral Resources Park.
The small forward is the latest graduate of Next Generation Academy's, being part of West Coast's women's program and making 16 WAFLW appearances with Swan Districts, making her league debut there in 2024.
Gerardi started with Swans' in the under 18s Rogers Cup in 2022.
"It's a dream come true and I can't wait to get out there and play with the girls," Gerardi said, via the Eagles.
"I'm really grateful for the opportunity and excited to pull on the Eagles jumper for the first time.
"To run out with this group is something I've been working hard for and I'm really proud to be able to represent the club."
Gerardi, regarded as an high-level two-sport athlete, progressed through both football and basketball pathways.
Eagles coach Daisy Pearce welcomed the addition of an "instinctive footballer", "natural athlete" and hard worker into the Eagles team.
"She is so smooth and evasive and consistently does things that break open the game," Pearce said.
"Sienna often has us all turning our heads, shocked how she got to that spot to crumb or found a way to not get out marked.
"She's worked really hard to step up to AFLW level and we're looking forward to her playing in a West Coast jumper for the first time."
West Coast are still searching for their first win of 2026, having last gone down to the 4-0 Demons in a tough contest last week.
Brisbane currently sit ninth on the ladder.
