NT Police call for public help to find Aboriginal man missing from Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police are continuing a land and air search for Tennant Creek man Maxie Graham, who hasn't been seen since Monday.

52-year-old Mr Graham is described as of Aboriginal appearance, 170cm tall, of a slim build with scruffy black hair and a long grey beard. He was last seen wearing black trousers with a blue shirt.

He was last seen driving a silver Ford SUV at around 6.30am on Monday, September 16. The vehicle was located abandoned at 09:20 pm on Tuesday.

Mr Graham is unable to walk unaided meaning he could not have ventured far from where his vehicle was located. He has medical conditions and NT Police said he has not presented for crucial appointments

His family and the greater Tennant Creek community hold concerns for his welfare

On Friday afternoon, NT Police said despite efforts over the last three days, they have been unable to locate him and hold grave concerns for his welfare.

"Police are asking the public for assistance in tracing Mr Graham's whereabouts," NT Police said.

Police are calling for witnesses who observed this vehicle travelling in Tennant Creek between 6.30am on Monday and 9.17pm on Tuesday to contact the Police on 000 or 1800 333 000.
