Gamilaroi rappers T Breezy and Walkerboy have announced their inaugural tour, SOUTHS MOST WANTED.
The tour will feature performances across Australia's east coast, including Naarm, Eora, Armidale, Bourke, and their rural hometown of Inverell.
The show in Naarm kicked off on Friday at MISCELLANIA.
SOUTHS MOST WANTED narrates the journey of the two rappers from rural New South Wales to the city, showcasing their lyrical skills with high-energy percussion and free-flowing bars.
Produced by label founder Utility, the mixtape reflects the rappers' balance of hope and aggression, drawing on experiences from their upbringing in Inverell.
The mixtape also features interludes highlighting Inverell scenescapes.
T Breezy and Walkerboy inspired the establishment of the label in 2019 with their early work together, including Breezy's debut EP, 2360 and various collaborations.
Utility's production has been pivotal, crafting a blend of melodic drill and trap.
They will be joined on tour by SMW producer Utility, emerging producer/DJ Mali and local support artists.
Highlights from the mixtape include the track 'WHAT DO', with a music video shot in Inverell's south side by Nathan Brown, featuring their community and juxtaposing their current lives with their ambitious lyrics.
Tickets are available via Humanitix.
