Twelve emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are set to release original songs over 12 weeks through a new mentorship program by Indigenous-owned organisation Boss Arts Creative.
The Rise Up program connects Indigenous artists with music industry professionals to develop radio-ready tracks.
Each artist receives support in songwriting, production and video creation.
The first song will launch on 13 February, featuring Narrogin-born musician Gabriell Smith, known as Gabe.
Gabe said the program helped him realise a lifelong passion.
"Music is such a huge part of who I am, but I never thought I would be able to do anything with it," Gabe said.
"Having the experience of working with this amazing mob at Boss Arts has changed everything."

Bibbulmun woman and Boss Arts Creative co-founder and director Della Rae Morrison said the initiative provides access to professional development often unavailable in remote or disadvantaged areas.
"Most of these artists come from backgrounds or areas which would make it difficult to receive lessons in the arts, or any kind of creative development," Ms Morrison said.
"Through the Rise Up program, we've given them access to the levels of artistic development and creative mentoring that their natural talent deserves."
Gabe's debut track 'The Edge', is described as a modern take on 90s grunge and was recorded at Sunset Studios in Boorloo/Perth with a full band.
Boss Arts co-founder and vocal coach Charley Caruso said Gabe brought a raw sound and strong songwriting skills.
"Gabe has such a raw, unfiltered sound and a unique gift for songwriting," Ms Caruso said.
"His track, 'The Edge', gives you 90s grunge nostalgia with a 2026 feel."
Ms Caruso said Gabe overcame significant challenges to complete the recording.
"Gabe showed so much dedication, overcoming so many obstacles. Even distance was a barrier, and he had to catch a bus from Narrogin to be able to record at Sunset Studios in Perth."
Rise Up is supported by Creative Australia and delivered by Boss Arts Creative, a multi-arts organisation focused on empowering Indigenous artists.
