Callan Morse is a Trawlwoolway man from north-west Tasmania with a background in education. Outside of his role at National Indigenous Times Callan has a passion for agriculture, which sees him manage livestock operations on Aboriginal-owned land. Callan is a passionate cricketer who has previously represented Tasmania at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships as well featuring in the Australian Indigenous cricket team. Callan is particularly interested in reporting on Aboriginal affairs within Tasmania, as well as broader Indigenous sport, politics, culture and environment developments from across the country.
