Carlton have locked in the services of uncontracted small forward Jesse Motlop on a two-year extension.
Motlop, 21, inked the deal to remain at the club through to the end of 2027 after the most consistent campaign of his career to date.
He was one of six Blues to feature in all of their games across the 2025 season.
The son of former Port and North Melbourne player Daniel Motlop, Motlop arrived at Princes Park with pick 27 in the 2021 draft, playing 12 AFL games in his first year.
He followed it up with a solid second year, making 21 appearances, including all three of Carlton's finals, before an injury interrupted 2024 restricted him to just seven games at the back end of the year.
Motlop had been loosely linked to Port Adelaide for the upcoming trade period before signing on with the Blues.
"We are happy to have Jesse continue on at Carlton for the next two years," Blues head of list management Nick Austin said.
"Jesse has really grown at the football club, since stepping foot inside IKON Park he has worked hard on his forward craft as well as learning from the midfield group as he develops all elements of his game.
"The progression he has shown as he now enters his fifth season has been very pleasing, he has built solid foundations to further progress from here, and we look forward to seeing him use this opportunity to take his career to the next level."
Since his debut, Motlop has gone at close to a goal a game kicking 59 majors from 63 appearances.
He also finished in the top 20 of the league for tackles inside attacking 50.
Motlop started the year running out for the Indigenous All Stars in the side's first appearance in a decade.
The Indigenous All Stars posted a 16.12 (108) - 9.11 (65) win over the Dockers.
