Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate two Indigenous teenagers reported missing across Sydney in recent weeks.

Thirteen-year-old Tyisha Buchanan was last seen in Harris Park at about 3.30pm on Friday 18 April 2025.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Cumberland Police Area Command commenced inquiries.

Concerns are held for her welfare due to her age.

Tyisha is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of thin build with dark hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jumper and black pants.

Tyisha is known to frequent Harris Park, Redfern and Erskineville.

Inquiries suggest she may have been in the Erskineville area later that evening around 7.30pm.

Fifteen-year-old Malakye Gray was last seen in Marsden Park on Tuesday 4 February 2025.

After he could not be located or contacted, officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command launched an investigation.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

Malakye is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165 to 170cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a white hat, a cream-coloured hoodie, black tracksuit pants and white shoes.

He is known to frequent Marsden Park, Mount Druitt, Surry Hills and Wee Waa, and police believe he may have been in the Glebe area on or around Tuesday 25 February 2025.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
