The 2026 January 26 events are taking place all over Victoria, with the large rally to take place on the steps of State Parliament in Naarm. The following are several events taking place across the state.
25th January
On the Sunday evening, an Honouring the Day of Mourning will take place in Shepparton on Yorta Yorta Country, hosted by the Shepparton Region Reconciliation Group.
The ally-led event stands in solidarity with the local First Nations community on the eve of January 26.

26th January
A Day of Mourning /Invasion Day dawn service will be held at Camp Sovereignty under the cultural guidance of Uncle Robbie Thorpe. It is held in solidarity with the Invasion Day Rally and is open for all to attend.

The Ballarat Survival Day Dawn Ceremony is a reflection and healing event. It is hosted by the City of Ballarat's Koorie Engagement Action Group (KEAG) Advisory Committee in partnership with First Nations community members.

The 4th Pilk Purriyn truth-telling event, led by Wadawurrung Traditional Owners. The sunrise event features deep listening, reflection and connection with Country and Culture.

Held in solidarity with the Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance, the Invasion Day Rally begins on the steps of Victorian Parliament before marching through the city.

Straight after the rally, Share the Spirit —a concert featuring First Nations artists — takes place in a celebration of community, music and culture.

Where: Treasury Gardens, 2-18 Spring Street, Naarm
Celebrate Gunditj from 11 am on Gunditjmara Country, with a day of reflection and culture. Featuring live music, storytelling and cultural activities.

Walking down from Langtree Mall to Jaycee Park, the day features speeches, traditional dancing, art stalls and a free BBQ.

A safe space featuring local musical artists, food, stalls and cultural experiences, the 2026 theme is 'Her Story; Matriarchs of 2026.' The ticketed event is free for Mob.

A gathering in the evening to commemorate First Peoples' survival, featuring live music from Uncle Johnny Lovett.
Where: Melville Oval Pavilion
