Iconic rock band from East Arnhem Land, King Stingray, have released their latest single, titled Through the Trees.
The song features a powerful chorus and meaningful lyrics, delving into themes of overcoming adversity.
Accompanying the release is a visually captivating video filmed in the remote Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory.
Directed by Sam Brumby, the video offers a fitting backdrop for the song.
"On the surface it's a fun traveling song representing adventure, but beneath the surface it talks more deeply on the concept of time and how precious it is," the band said.
"It's about overcoming adversity, coming out the other side, and reaching that breath of fresh air."
King Stingray premiered their latest single during their highly-praised performance at the Golden Plains festival over the weekend, receiving enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
Recently, the band has been building anticipation for their new music through social media teasers.
They revealed that they are finalising their second album, following the success of their self-titled debut LP released in 2022.
In addition, King Stingray announced plans to expand their reach internationally with their largest US tour yet.
They will join forces with fellow musicians King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard for a tour across the West Coast and the Southern states later this year.
