Jacqui Lambie has slammed far-right politician Pauline Hanson's "nastiness" after a cartoon by One Nation mocked her health condition.

One Nation's latest instalment in its Please Explain series, a collection of satirical videos that mock politicians and comment — often crudely — on political events, focuses on the Albanese Government's Digital Duty of Care legislation.

As part of its punchline, it depicts Senator Lambie saying, "I can't laugh because of my prolapsed vagina," before adding a crude sound effect.

The Army veteran has previously spoken emotionally about how the issue is directly related to injuries she suffered during her time in the military. In August, she told Parliament about the difficulties female veterans face in accessing care.

Speaking on ABC Radio National, the Tasmanian senator said: "If you think it's a laughable matter about women having problems with their reproductive system, then you be my guest, and you stand by her. But seriously, enough is enough."

She said people should watch One Nation's videos "if you want more hatred, more spitefulness in your life".

"But what I do know is this: decent leaders don't stir up hatred, pushing us towards bloody anarchy, because that's exactly what she's doing," she said.

While saying she would not be asking One Nation to take the video down, Senator Lambie said the men on Senator Hanson's team should be asking her to remove it.

"I would have just thought that if those people, and especially those men in there, if they had any front whatsoever, what they do is ask her to remove that effective immediately," she said.

Writing on social media, independent MP and former paediatric neurologist Monique Ryan backed Senator Lambie, arguing that she is "worth 1,000 Pauline Hansons".

"Pelvic organ prolapse — bladder or vaginal — affects about 1 in 12 Australian women," she wrote. "It's often linked to physical strain, heavy lifting or past childbirth. It's uncomfortable and debilitating."

Senator Lambie "talked about an awkward subject to make it easier for other affected women," Dr Ryan said.

"Pauline Hanson thinks that's worth making fun of."

It is not the first time Senator Lambie has criticised Senator Hanson.

Last month, after a One Nation cartoon labelled former SAS captain and Liberal MP Andrew Hastie a traitor, she told the Senate: "She's [Senator Hanson] disgusting ... she's the lowest bit of life you can possibly come from with that woman."

"You watch this, the Australian people. Here we go, here comes coward Hanson," Senator Lambie said.

"Any veteran out there thinking about voting for One Nation or standing for them, I tell you what, you had better think twice."
