Two Perth-based Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations have formalised a partnership aimed at improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service and Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration between the two organisations.

The agreement was signed by Derbarl chair Joslyn Eades-Tass and Moorditj Koort chair Marianne Mackay, alongside chief executives James Christian and Annie Young.

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service provides Aboriginal primary health care services in Perth, while Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation delivers community-based programs focused on social, cultural and wellbeing support.

Both organisations say the agreement reflects a shared commitment to cultural leadership and self-determination, and is intended to support better coordinated services for Aboriginal people across metropolitan Perth.

The Memorandum of Understanding formalises ongoing collaboration between the two organisations.
