Terri-Anne Daniel began baking allergy-friendly treats in her home kitchen after seeing how many people missed out on a simple sweet treat.
During this year's NAIDOC Week, the proud Wiradjuri woman from the Central Coast and founder of Cooee Native Superfoods reached a national milestone, with her Cookies and Popcorn range launching in Coles Local stores across the country in a limited time offer this month.
Coles Local is the first major retail partner to stock Cooee's Popcorn products.
Every product in the range features at least one native ingredient such as Wattleseed, Davidson Plum and Strawberry Gum, bringing distinctive Australian flavours to familiar snacks.
"Partnerships like this are incredibly important for growing awareness of Cooee Cookies and Popcorn and sharing our products with more Australians," Ms Daniel said.
"We know customers are looking for convenient, lighter snacking options that still feel special, whether that's portion-controlled treats, lunchbox-friendly products or clearly labelled gluten-free options.
"Having the range available through Coles Local gives more customers the chance to discover and enjoy what we do, while helping us continue building the business, creating more opportunities across our supply chain and supporting our long-term ambition to increase Indigenous participation in the commercialisation of native ingredients."

Cooee began as a kitchen-bench baking business in 2023 and now produces more than 90,000 cookies a month from a dedicated peanut-free facility in Melbourne, with its cookies stocked in major supermarkets, more than 600 Ampol Foodary stores and served on Qantas flights.
In November 2025, Cooee acquired Creative Native Foods, bringing Australia's longest-running native ingredients supplier under Indigenous ownership for the first time in its 25-year history.
The native ingredients are central to Cooee Native Superfoods' purpose, to introduce more customers to First Nations food culture through everyday grocery products, and to build appreciation of ingredients used and valued by Aboriginal communities for generations.
Coles Head of Indigenous Affairs, Sara Stuart, said NAIDOC Week was an important time to recognise and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of First Nations people.
"At Coles, we're committed to supporting Indigenous-owned businesses and helping create opportunities for suppliers to grow," Ms Stuart said.
"We're proud to be connected to more than 90 Indigenous businesses through our supply chain and partnerships like this help us continue to build strong, long-term relationships with First Nations suppliers.
"We're proud to have Cooee Cookies and Popcorn on our shelves in Coles Local stores, giving customers an easy way to try something new, support an Aboriginal-owned business and enjoy snacks made with native Australian ingredients."
Cooee Cookies and Popcorn are available in Coles Local stores nationally until 28 July.
