NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an Indigenous woman missing from the Tamworth area.
Nicole Fisher, 35, was last seen at a medical facility on Dean Street, North Tamworth, at approximately 2.30pm on Friday 7 August.
When Ms Fisher could not be located officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Both police and family hold concerns for Nicole's welfare.
Ms Fisher is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 150cm to 155cm tall, of medium build with brown hair with rainbow extensions.
She is known to frequent the Tamworth area.
Members of the publics with information about Ms Fisher's whereabouts are urged to contact Tamworth Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
