The First Peoples' Assembly are hosting a series of fun, family movie nights over the summer as Victorian begins to get warmer.
The first, held to coincide with the Halloween weekend, is a showing of Hocus Pocus at the outdoor cinema on Saturday November 2, at the Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval in Thornbury.
The spooky movie starts at 8pm, but gates open at 5.30. People are encouraged to bring a picnic run with the $5 ticket getting you entry and a free regular sized popcorn.
There will also be good trucks around serving a selection of meals that people can purchase and grab a spot on the oval.
The Assembly is also holding a best dressed competition, and everyone - including adults - are encouraged to come down in their deadliest, spookiest outfit.
Prizes will be awarded for the Most Creative or Spookiest Costume for under 6 years; under 12 years; under 18 years; and best dressed adult.
The movie night is part of a number of events the Assembly is hosting over the summer, and more information can be found online.
It is all part of bringing the community and Mob together to engage with them around Treaty and the Assembly in the lead up to the historic Treaty negotiations with the state government, which are scheduled to begin next month.
