Leesa Mi Mi will remain at the Sunshine Coast Lightning in 2026 after a career-best campaign with the club.
The Wakka Wakka netballer has established herself as an emerging star of the competition in 2025, building on her first year at the Lightning following a move from down the highway at Queensland Firebirds ahead of last season.
She played 13 games in the club's midcourt in a season which saw her side fall just short of the finals.
Mi Mi is one of five confirmed players for the Lightning's next push as a premiership fancy.
The club announced earlier this week the speedy centre and wing attack re-signed on a one-year deal.
Single season contracts are the regular process in Super Netball.
SSN wrapped for the year with last weekend's nail-biting grand final with Melbourne Vixens claiming an upset one goal win over West Coast Fever in front of a record crowd at Naarm's Rod Laver Arena.
"Leesa has been a strong performer for us over the past couple of seasons and continues to improve week-on-week," Lightning coach Belinda Reynolds said of the rising star.
"Her speed is definitely impressive, but she's also incredibly strong defensively and was able to pick up ball for us in crucial moments this season.
"Aside from her on-court talent, Leesa has an infectious personality and is an absolute joy to have in our team, so I'm thrilled she'll be back in the squad for 2026."
Mi Mi got a taste of international netball last year as part of Australia's Fast 5 side.
She's widely regarded as one of the fastest players across court in the league.
