Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl who has been missing from Redland Bay since Wednesday, March 5.

The girl was last seen in Redland Bay at approximately 6pm and has not been seen or heard from since.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and the current weather conditions.

She is described as of Pacific Islander appearance, approximately 150cm tall, with dark hair and brown eyes.

The girl is known to frequent Brisbane CBD, Southbank, Fortitude Valley, and major shopping centres.

Police urge the girl or anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
