Wade King's first half-century of the National Indigenous Cricket Championships has lead Victoria to a resounding win over the Northern Territory in Mackay.

King struck three 4s and three 6s on his way to an unbeaten 54* (31) to anchor the Victorian innings at Great Barrier Reef Arena.

The allrounder was well supported by Jhiah Baxter (31 from 17) and Kane Hawkins (29 from 11) to see Victoria post an imposing 2/135 from 10 overs.

In response the Northern Territory crumbled with the bat, managing 8/50 from their 10 overs.

No batters reached double figures for the Territory, with Victorian opener Pat Jackson (4/2) at one point reducing the chasing side to 4/8.

The Territory were also comprehensively defeated by New South Wales earlier in the day, with NSW chasing down the NT's 5/57 without losing a wicket.

The formidable opening duo of Pat Rosser (39* from 17) and Brendan Smith (15* from 9) needed just 4.1 overs to surpass the required target.

Benjamin Stares (24 from 21) top scored for the Territory while Smith (2/8) was NSW's best with the ball.

Queensland beat Western Australia by seen wickets despite another batting masterclass from Western Australian opener Brock Larance.

The hard-hitting right hander hit three 4s and two 6s on the way to a tournament-high 62* (39) to leas WA to a competitive position of 1/84 after 10 overs.

Queensland however were up to the task in reply, with Dylan McLachlan (28*) leading the men in maroon to victory after a fast start from opener Bradley Radford (24 from 17).

Jay Collard, Blade Holliway and Elijah Dare shared the wickets for Western Australia.

Tasmania made easy work of South Australia, winners by 7 wickets.

Jack Pearce (33* from 24) top scored to lead Tasmania to victory with 14 balls to spare after SA posted 5/74.

Openers Brodie Cameron and Tyler Latham each scored 32 for South Australia, with off-spinner Eli Sheehan (2/7) Tasmania's best with the ball.

Five matches are scheduled for Saturday, including Queensland v South Australia, Tasmanian v Victoria, Western Australia v New South Wales, Queensland v the Northern Territory and South Australia v Victoria.
