Comprehensive semi-final wins from Walgett and Wiradjuri Aboriginal Rivers have set up a bumper men's final at the 51st Koori Knockout on the NSW Central Coast.

The highly touted Walgett progressed to the decider with relative ease in a 44-12 win over Blacktown Red Belly Warriors on Monday morning.

After a scorching day's play on Sunday, the ease in temperature and wind helped the '22 runners up fire, boasting the likes of Dally M Medallists Jack Wighton and Ben Barba alongside NRL stars Isaiah Tass and former Dragon, Raider and Sea Eagle Joel Thompson.

Untapped star Latrell Siegwalt has also been impressive.

It serves up a big challenge for 2023 bolters Wiradjuri to contest with to close out the tournament.

With former Kangaroo and NSW Blue Blake Ferguson in their lineup, WAR got the best of La Perouse Panthers in their semi to progress through.

A 40-20 from Cronulla NRL half Braydon Trindall to set up the try which sealed the match displayed a piece of excitement they may need to go past Walgett.

"The boys are pretty confident. They're gelling well together. I know Walgett has got a good side...so there'll be keen and hungry just just as much as," Wiradjuri supporting team member John Dunn told National Indigenous Times.

Dunn said in finals-type footy focusing on getting the fundamentals right and capitalising on opposition mistakes gives you every opportunity to come out on top.

Despite temperatures in the mid-to-high thirties on Sunday, the boy's bodies are holding up.

WAR's forward pack and pace out wide could prove the difference in Dunn's eyes.

Wiradjuri Aboriginal Rivers face Walgett in the men's final on Monday afternoon.
