Cannington police are requesting the public's assistance to locate missing 26-year-old Tahlia Prior, who was last seen at Bentley hospital around 5pm last Friday.

Both the police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Ms Prior is described as of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 174cm tall, of a medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark jumper and hospital-issued pyjamas.

Ms Prior's mother, Cindy Prior, has taken to social media to raise awareness about her daughter's disappearance during National Missing Persons Week (NMPW), asking members of the public to share her daughter's image and story throughout the community.

"I am worried about the health and safety of my daughter Tahlia, who has been missing from Bentley hospital since Friday," she wrote on Facebook.

"...No detail is too small to find them"

Cindy hopes that her message will reach far and wide.

Members of the public with information relating to Tahlia Prior's disappearance are encouraged to contact police on 131 444.
