Various natural tourist spots in the Northern Territory have gone viral on Instagram this year, thanks to travel accounts and bloggers.

As international and state borders have opened, travel bloggers on Instagram have captured various videos of natural attractions in the red dirt state.

Attracting more than four million views, a reel by @twosometravellers captured Uluru from the back of a van and was shared with Tourism NT's Instagram.

Tourism NT's official social media account @NTaustralia has been a powerful tool for the state this year to promote the territory as an idealistic tourist destination.

Their account has shared the appeal of visiting the territory to Australian and global audiences.

Along with Uluru, Instagram accounts have shared gems from around the Territory such as Matarank Thermal Pool, Nawurlandja Lookout and Yurmikmik Walks in Kakadu.

Another reel of Litchfield National Park by @travellingwildtrak accumulated over 2000 views and a video by @kjell_hensen_ of a pod of dolphins in Darwin Harbour also saw over 2000 people stop scrolling.

NT Minister for Tourism, Nicole Manison, said the territory has become a clear hit with travellers, with attractions to see from the Top End to the Red Centre.

"The imagery on @NTaustralia over the past year once again highlights our stunning landscapes, waterfalls and outback adventures, in addition to our Aboriginal art and cultural experiences, showcasing what the Territory has to offer," she said.

"Our latest visitor numbers show our tourism recovery is on track, tourists are staying longer and spending more and Instagram is one of the most popular ways for young adventurers to get their travel inspiration."

Visitors have been encouraged to tag @NTaustralia and us #NTaustralia on their happy holiday snaps to give Tourism NT permission to repost.

Earlier this month, ten Aboriginal tourism businesses in the Territory received grants ranging from $30,000 to $100,000 under the government's Aboriginal Tourism Grant Program's fourth round.

Multiple consumer surveys have found the majority of tourists who visit the NT want to participate in Indigenous cultural experiences.
