Canberra halfback Jamal Fogarty has ended weeks of speculation signing a three-year, $2 million deal with Manly.
Fogarty will reportedly leave the Raiders after informing coach Ricky Stuart agreed to terms with the Northern Beaches-based club on Tuesday morning, according to Code Sports.
The half will play out the season in the nation's capital, according to reports, before moving to Manly in 2026 as the replacement for Daly Cherry-Evans, who earlier this year sensationally announced his playing days at the club are in their final months.
The Raiders had offered Fogarty a two-year deal to remain there after the current season.
According to reports, his current club's financial offer just eclipsed Manly's, however the former Titan was won over by the extra year available in Sydney.
Last week, Stuart conceded the club couldn't match a rumoured deal offered by the Sea Eagles.
"If that (deal) is real - three years at $700,000 - Jamal should take it - I'd love to keep him but we can't match that," the veteran coach told SEN last week.
"Jamal is 32 at the end of the year and if he can get three years and that's real, Jamal's got to take that as all along I've said he has to look after his young family but I would love to have Jamal here for another two years.
"So wow, good on on you, and I'll say that to Jamal when I see him tomorrow.
"If it's done. If it's not done I'd love to have him."
Manly had previously rejected suggestions they had beached any rules regarding attempts to poach Fogarty.
