Lively Freo forward Isaiah Dudley has put pen to paper on an extension to remain at the minor premiers for three more seasons, as list changes begin across the competition on the eve of finals.
Dudley, 23, tacked on an extra two years to the deal after hitting a trigger for a one-year extension to lock in at the Dockers until at least the end of 2029.
At Port Adelaide, out-of-contract defender and Yanyuwa man Lachie Jones this week signed a two-deal deal for 2027 and 2028 with the Power, as the club hosted its exit interviews after a 15-place finish.
St Kilda's Isaac Keeler, North Melbourne's Robert Hansen Jr and injury-interrupted Eagle Tyler Brockman have been delisted.
For Dudley, the Dockers' rise up the ladder has coincided with a breakout year in their forward line — booting 28 majors at over a goal a game.
He's played in all 23 of Fremantle's games in 2026, after arriving at the club as a SSP top-up on the eve of the 2025 season.
Fremantle head of player personnel David Walls said the club has seen the pay-off of the forward's first full preseason
"We can't wait to see what the future with Duds holds for Freo."
Dudley said it was a "no-brainer", loving the lifestyle in the west and time at the club, to re-commit.
The Dockers finished one win clear on top of the AFL ladder after the home and away season, and host Hawthorn in next weekend's qualifying final as they chase a maiden premiership.
Jones looks set to notch 100 AFL games next season with his extension at Alberton.
The 24-year-old was commended for his leadership within a young Power backline by club list manager Jason Cripps.
"His athleticism and ability to play both tall and small makes him an important member of our defence," Cripps said.
Hansen will depart North after 20 senior games over three years since joining as a mid-season rookie pick up in 2023.
He played a career-high 12 AFL games in 2026, penning a one-year deal last year.
Keeler had two full seasons in the Saints' VFL setup (previously Sandringham) before making his after debut early on in 2025, and made a total 13 AFL appearances.
Brockman showed promise as a Hawk before moving back to his home state with the Eagles ahead of the 2024 season.
He enjoyed a consistent 2025 with 20 senior games, but injury limited his playing to four WAFL appearances this season.
"As part of our list management process, we have decided not to offer Tyler a contract extension for 2027," Eagles head of football John Worsfold said.
"Tyler struggled to get on the field this season, but he has had strong support around him from our coaches and wellbeing team which will continue as he transitions from our squad."
