Tiwi Bombers have recorded their second win in three seasons after a resounding victory against Palmerston in the Northern Territory Football League on the weekend.
The Bombers burst from the blocks to register a five-goal lead at quarter time before cruising to a 43-point win.
Tiwi 13.11 (89) defeated Palmerston 6.10 (46).
The Bombers looked by far the slicker team during the early stages of the match and never looked troubled by the Magpies.
Tiwi increased their lead at the half-time and three-quarter-time breaks before seemingly taking their foot off the pedal in the final term.
Former South Adelaide player Kim Kantilla was best afield with a scintillating four-goal performance while new skipper Brendan Kantilla produced another strong showing after his excellent game last week.
Thaddeus Puautjimi and Karlson Kantilla had an impact again and are two younger players who have thrived under the Premier League opportunities given to them by new coach Patrick Bowden.
Essendon VFL-listed player Jacob Brown has provided experience and strength around the contest.
Ex-AFL star Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti looked sharper than last week and finished with two goals, as did teammate Tim Babui.

It has been a positive start to the Bombers' 2023/24 campaign, starting last week with an honourable 11-point loss to last season's grand finalists Southern Districts.
Before this season, the Bombers went two seasons winless before finally breaking through for an early win against PINT last year and following it up with a draw against the Greenants in their meeting later in the season.
The Bombers are playing the fast and exciting style of football they were renowned for during their successful years in the 2010s.
The team recorded 43 running bounces during last weekend's game against the Crocs, which was 18 more bounces than the other seven teams combined over the course of the round.
In other NTFL news, former Geelong and Port Adelaide player Steven Motlop starred for his new club PINT in their exciting one-point win over reining premiers Waratah on Friday night at Gardens Oval.
Motlop had 15 disposals, nearly all of which were damaging, seven tackles and an important goal in the final term.
In the same game, Anthony Munkara finished with two goals among a couple of brilliant moments.
St Marys defeated Southern Districts by 12 points while Nightcliff had a 57-point win over Wanderers.
It has been an even start to the season with Nightcliff, Darwin, PINT and St Marys all on eight points and Waratah, Tiwi Bombers, Wanderers and Southern Districts all on one win.
Palmerston are the only team remaining without a win.
