Gomeroi rapper Kobie Dee, based in South Sydney's Maroubra Bidjigal Land, has announced his upcoming EP, Chapter 26, set for release on July 26 through Bad Apples Music.

The eight-track EP explores Dee's current life stage, depicting his journey from young man to fatherhood, rapper to artist, and role model to leader.

Through stories of vulnerability and strength, he confronts self-doubt to build a strong vision and legacy.

The EP invites fans to join him as he raps about growth, pain, and success.

"Chapter 26 is a journey through my life, from being a young Blak man in Australia, to becoming a father and navigating fatherhood from a place of having an absent father myself," Dee said.

"To then meeting my fiancé and having my second child, starting to grow my family, then navigating my way through my career at this point in time and being conscious of the time that I have right now and how I'm going to use it."

Executive producer Jayteehazard provides 90s-inspired beats with guest contributions from Oddisee, Stan Walker, Miss Kaninna and Zia Jade, aiming to inspire the next Blak generation.

The EP follows Dee's recent single Warriors & Storytellers, which celebrates his personal and professional achievements.

The track was featured on rage and synced with AFL and NRL's Indigenous Round, reaching #30 on the Shazam Charts and #22 Most Played on triple j.
