Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander veterans to be honoured at Sydney service

The 17th Annual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Servicemen and Servicewomen Commemoration Service will honour Indigenous veterans Friday, 26 May, in Sydney.

The ceremony will be held at the Anzac Memorial Hyde Park at 10.40am, commencing with a smoking ceremony.

A livestream will also be available on Facebook - @anzacmemorial and @rslnsw.

The ceremony is being held in recognition of the contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander veterans have made to this country.

The Organising Committee encourages all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander veterans and their families, the wider veteran community and the general public to take part in the ceremony.
