Barkindji and Gniyampaa woman Jemmika Douglas will make her AFLW debut for Adelaide on Sunday, less than a month after joining the club as a replacement player.
The 20-year-old has been named to face Carlton at IKON Park, becoming Adelaide's fourth AFLW debutant of the season.
Douglas only joined the Crows 25 days ago after being recruited to fill the final spot on the club's list following the retirement of former captain Chelsea Randall.
Adelaide Executive General Manager Women's Football Bree Brock said Douglas had made a strong impression since arriving at the club.
"Jemmika trains with great intensity and her footy IQ and clean skills have been an asset to our side," Brock said via Adelaide Crows Media.
"She hasn't been in our side for long, but she has fitted in with the group seamlessly and we look forward to seeing her courage and toughness play out on the footy field."
Douglas arrives at AFLW level following two seasons with North Melbourne in the VFLW.
She played 22 games for the Kangaroos and was part of their 2025 VFLW premiership side.
Douglas had continued that form this season, averaging 18.6 disposals, five marks and two tackles across six VFLW appearances before receiving the call from Adelaide.
Her football journey originally began in Mildura, where she started playing at the age of five.

Douglas came through Red Cliffs in the Sunraysia Football League and also played with Nangiloc and Bambill before progressing into the Bendigo Pioneers program.
She later won the Pioneers' best-and-fairest award and earned selection in the 2024 Coates Talent League Team of the Year.
Douglas also represented Vic Country at under-18 level and spent time in Richmond's Next Generation Academy before continuing her development with North Melbourne.
Her manager Jayden Gerrand said Douglas' opportunity was the result of years of persistence.
"I'm incredibly proud," Gerrand said.
"I've had the privilege of working alongside 'Meeks' for a number of years, and this opportunity couldn't be more deserved.
"There have been plenty of highs, but also moments that tested her.
"Missing out on draft night, continuing to put in the work, making the move to the VFLW, winning a premiership in her first season, and never losing sight of the dream.
"This moment is so well deserved."
The 166cm utility has built a reputation for her competitiveness, clean skills and ability to play a number of roles.
She will now get her first opportunity at the highest level when Adelaide meets Carlton on Sunday, with the match scheduled to begin at 2.50pm ACST.
