Nominations are open for the 2026 Darebin Community Awards, recognising the people and community groups helping build a stronger, more connected and vibrant community.
The annual awards celebrate the contributions of individuals and organisations across Darebin, including volunteers, community leaders and local groups making a positive difference.

This year, awards will be presented across seven categories, with recipients recognised at a special ceremony on 12 November.
Darebin residents are encouraged to nominate someone whose contribution to the community deserves recognition — whether through volunteering, community leadership, advocacy, cultural work or other efforts that have made a meaningful difference.
