Fortescue Metals Group Aboriginal Business Development Manager, Yuluwirri McGrady, has taken on an official role with Indigenous educational not-for-profit MADALAH.
Mr McGrady, a trailblazer in mining, has a long association with MADALAH.
"I'm excited to announce I've joined MADALAH Limited as an Ambassador," he said.
"I've been associated with Madalah since 2019, to join the team in a formal role is an absolute honour.
"Thank you to the board and the leadership team for this awesome opportunity to connect and help guide the next generation of Indigenous youth."
MADALAH Limited provides secondary and tertiary education scholarships to Indigenous students from remote and regional communities to attend Western Australia's leading boarding schools and Australian universities.
Mr McGrady, a Goomilaroi and Toomelah man (from northern New South Wales) and a member of the WA Mining Club committee, has played an important role in Fortescue's Billion Opportunities program.
