St Kilda star Brad Hill is set to celebrate his 250th AFL game on Saturday, during a week where the Saints announced his re-signing for a further three seasons.
The Noongar man has enjoyed a decorated career since beginning at Hawthorn in 2012, which including being a member of the Hawks' three consecutive premiership teams.
Hill joined Fremantle at the end of the 2016 season and made an immediate impact winning the club's best-and-fairest in his first season over in the west.
After three years at the Dockers, the silky-skilled wingman accepted a lucrative offer to return to Victoria and join St Kilda.
The 31-year-old reflected on a career that he remarked has gone 'so quickly'.
"It feels like it wasn't too long ago my 200th (game)," Hill told St Kilda Media.
"When I was younger and people around me said how quick footy goes .. you're a young 18-year-old kid and you think 'nah, I've got loads of time'.
"But it does go pretty quick and you've just got to cherish these little moments."
When he takes his place in the team against West Coast tomorrow at Marvel Stadium, he will become the 17th Indigenous player in VFL/AFL history to achieve the 250-game milestone.
Hill has developed his leadership over the years and serves as an on-field mentor for some of the Saints' younger Indigenous players like Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Marcus Windhager.

"The more my career has gone on, I've tried to embrace my position as a leader and help drive us forward," Hill said.
"I'm always there to help the younger boys if they ever need me. I make sure to let them know if they've got any issues, any problems or if they need help with anything, I'm always there for them.
"I'm the old fella now, it is a weird feeling because I still feel like I'm a young boy, I always act like one as well."
Hill has been an ultra-consistent performer over the journey and has continued with solid form in 2024, averaging over 21 disposals per game from his 16 appearances.
There appears to be many more games to come for the running machine, who put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension during the week.
The new deal will see him remain at the club until at least the end of the 2027 season.
Hill said that he was 'very happy' to continue plying his trade with the Saints.
"I really believe in the direction we're headed and am keen to play my role in getting us there," he said.
"I've been at the club for a few years now and am committed as ever to doing all I can to see us succeed."
St Kilda's General Manager of Football David Misson was excited to have a player of Hill's calibre re-sign with the club.
"Bradley brings an enormous amount of leadership, speed and skill to our side," Misson said.
"We're very happy to have him commit to three more years at the club.
"His ability to provide high quality performances, week in, week out and always play his role for the team is what we love about Brad."
