NSW Police appeal to public for assistance in locating missing Indigenous man

New South Wales Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an Indigenous man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

52-year-old Douglas Matuszak was last seen departing a care facility on Kay Street, Dulwich Hill, about 9pm on Friday.

When he was unable to be located officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Mr Matuszak is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with a shaved head and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and tropical patterned shorts.

Concerns are held for Mr Matuszak's welfare.

He is known to frequent the Sydney CBD and Summer Hill areas and could be heading to Dubbo.
