Essendon star Madison Prespakis has become the youngest player in AFLW history to record 1000 disposals.
At 22 years and 318 days old, Prespakis takes over from Richmond star Monique Conti as the youngest to achieve the feat and the 12th player overall.
The Dja Dja Wurrung woman continued her excellent start to the season with another strong performance in the Bombers' 47-point loss to Adelaide yesterday at Unley Oval.
The gun midfielder finished with a team-high 21 disposals, five clearances and kicked two goals to be clearly Essendon's best player.
Prespakis is undoubtedly one of the most decorated footballers in the entire AFLW competition.
She won the league's highest individual honour – the AFLW Best & Fairest – in 2020 and is a three-time All-Australian.

Prespakis was a dominant junior player before being drafted to Carlton in 2018.
In her 34 games with the Blues, she won the club's best-and-fairest three times and the AFL Women's Rising Star award.
After a handful of brilliant years at Carlton, Prespakis accepted a deal to join Essendon – the club she supported as a child – at the beginning of the club's inaugural season.
She enjoyed a dominant debut season for the Bombers, claiming the club's best-and-fairest award after playing all ten games and averaging 24 disposals per game.
A new member of Essendon's leadership group, Prespakis is having a statistically career best start to her 2023 campaign with averages of 27 disposals, five tackles and six clearances.
The Bombers have won two games from its opening three encounters to start the season.
Madison's younger sister Georgie Prespakis is also an up-and-coming star of the AFLW with rival club Geelong.
The 20-year-old is in her third season and gathered a career-high 34 disposals in the Cats' opening round clash against the Western Bulldogs.
The 2022 AFLW Season 7 All-Australian member is averaging 25 disposals and an incredible 10 tackles from her opening three games this season.
