Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera has knocked back rival interest to sign a two-year extension with St Kilda.
The 22-year-old has ended the AFL's biggest contract talking points of 2025 by inking a new deal with the club, which the Saints announced on Monday afternoon.
According to earlier reports on Monday, the two-year commitment is worth in excess of $4 million dollars, making Wanganeen-Milera the game's first $2 million a year player.
The South Australian had garnered heavy interest from his home state, with the Crows and Port penned against the Saints in the race for his signature.
Wanganeen-Milera has exploded into the top echelons of the league across the 2025 season after already an impressive start to his career.
"From the moment I arrived at St Kilda, the staff and my teammates have supported me in every way, not just to be a better footballer, but a better person," Wanganeen-Milera said, via St Kilda on Monday.
"I know how special it is to pull on the red, white and black. Every time I run out, I'm representing my family, my culture and this club. That means everything to me.
"I've still got so much I want to improve in my game, and I know this is the right place for me to keep growing. I've got great people around me who push me to be better every day."
Wanganeen-Milera has averaged 30 touches and 650-plus metres gained per game across 2025 while adding more weapons, including damaging midfield minutes, to his back flank distributor exploits in previous seasons.

According to reports, offers tables by the Crows and Power were around the $1.5-2.5 million a year mark.
Wanganeen-Milera said "I want to help create something long-lasting here. We've got a tight group and a clear direction, and I'm proud to be part of building that future".
The Saints are also expected to pursue Carlton ruck Tom De Koning with a sizeable offer in the upcoming trade period alongside more recruitment efforts amid speculation of some of their current stars' interests in departing the club.
"Nasiah's commitment to the club is a strong vote of confidence in not only the culture we've built, but in the future we're creating both on and off the field," St Kilda executive general manager of football David Misson said via the club on Monday.
"Nas is a well-loved and deeply connected member of our team. His decision to stay is brilliant news for the entire footy club, from the playing group to our loyal supporters.
"He's an incredibly exciting and talented footballer, and we're thrilled to watch him continue to develop as an integral part of our club."
Wanganeen-Milera landed at the Saints as the 11th pick in the 2021 national draft.
He has played 85 games since making his debut in 2022, and will be at the end of his sixth season when the new deal expires.
The Saints' final match of the season is against the 6th placed Greater Western Sydney Giants, having fallen out of finals contention earlier in the season.
They sit 11th, five wins short of eighth spot ahead of round 24.
