The race for Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera's signature has ended with the Saints set to announce the young gun's re-signing.
The 22-year-old has reportedly agreed to an extension to remain at the club, reportedly as the game's first $2 million a year player.
According to reports on Monday, Wanganeen-Milera will remain at the Saints until at least the end of 2027 on a two-year deal.
The midfielder has been at the centre of football's hottest contract talks across the 2025 season while emerging as one of the league's best talents.
Extended speculation placed Adelaide and Port against St Kilda in the fight to secure the South Australian's services from next year.
He has been tight-lipped across the year about where he would play his football in 2026.
In a disappointing year at St Kilda, Wanganeen-Milera has grown into a top-level talent after promising early years of his career. He's averaged 30 touches and 650-plus metres gained per game throughout the 2025 season.
Three weeks ago, Wanganeen-Milera kicked two goals in the final minute of play to propel St Kilda to a 46-point three quarter time comeback win over Melbourne - the biggest final term deficit overcame in VFL/AFL history.
