Showcasing the art of seven artists, Australia's leading indie lifestyle brand Kip & Co has released a collaboration with Australia's longest-running Indigenous Art Centre, Ernabella Arts.

The seven artists involved in this collaboration include Alison Lionel, Carlene Thompson, Langaliki Lewis, Lynette Lewis, Malpiya Davey, Michelle Lewis, and Rupert Jack.

With the collaborative range featuring everything from bedding and apparel to homewares, bright hues and unique patterns are splashed across a variety of the collections products.

With culture, country and storytelling at the heart of this collection, the selected seven artists have shared their ancestral stories through their artwork. Partnering with a range of artists from the Ernabella Art Centre has also allowed this crossover collaboration to showcase the artist's creativity both individually and collaboratively.

With all seven artists involved in the project each holding different viewpoints, the featured patterns are unique in that they reflect much more than just a celebration of colour and design.

"All the Ernabella artists were amazed and delighted to see the artworks transformed into such a stunning and diverse range," Ernabella Art Centre manager, Rowena Withers said.

After being impressed with Kip & Co's first Indigenous art collaboration, Withers knew that the brand's broader business values and goals were those the art centre was happy to support and align with further.

"Kip & Co had been recommended to us as a high-end, ethical brand to partner with," she said.

"We looked at their previous collaboration with an Indigenous art centre and we were impressed with the style and quality of the range. 50% of the profits are returned directly to the artists which is a fantastic outcome."

With 50% of profits received directly returning to Ernabella Art Centre, Kip & Co co-founder Alex McCabe, said this was a choice that further reflected consumers demand for products that reflect their own values.

"The incredible success of our indigenous collaborations shows that consumer behaviour is changing, for the better," Kip & Co co-founder Alex McCabe told Style Up.

"Customers are consciously choosing products that reflect their own social, environmental and ethical values - they are seeking an authentic connection. And there's no better sense of story and purpose than in the art created by Ernabella Arts."

Ernabella Arts is located in Pukatija Community in the far North West of South Australia. The Kip & Co x Ernabella Arts collaboration is available now via www.kipandco.com.au.
