The Walk for Reconciliation, Karni Walbirniny Koorliny / Walk of Truth and Healing, at Galup (Lake Monger) is now set for Thursday, 30 October.
The event was rescheduled from its original date due to bad weather.
Organisers are encouraging the public to join the Walk for Reconciliation, which they described as "a powerful moment of truth-telling, reflection, and solidarity at the culturally significant Galup (Lake Monger)".
"This walk honours the storytelling passed down to Doolann-Leisha Eatts (Garlett) by her grandmother, Yurleen Bennell (Garlett), and acknowledges all Carriers of the Galup massacre story," Reconciliation WA said in a statement.
"Galup (Lake Monger) is a place of deep cultural and historical significance for the Whadjuk Noongar people.
With a dedicated Koolangka (children) Wave, the walk allows all generations to engage in learning, listening, and action.
Powerful stories will be shared, including those about restoring the area's Whadjuk Noongar name.
Those who signed up for the original walk on 3 June have had their registration automatically carried over to the new date and should have received an email regarding this.
For those who have not yet registered, the process is available online.
