Rabbitohs winger Tyrone Munro has been charged in relation to an alleged domestic violence incident in April.
On Tuesday, South Sydney confirmed they have informed the NRL Integrity Unit of the alleged incident and charges, adding they would address the matter seriously if proven.
Munro, 20, made his first grade debut with the club in 2023.
"A man has been charged after an alleged domestic violence-related assault near Homebush earlier this year," NSW Police said in a statement, according to multiple outlets.
"Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command initiated an investigation yesterday (Monday 13 October 2025), after a woman reported she'd been assaulted by her partner in April 2025.
"Following inquiries, a 20-year-old man was arrested yesterday and taken to Auburn Police Station where he has now been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), common assault (domestic)."
Munro has reportedly been granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Burwood Local Court on October 30.
"The South Sydney Rabbitohs are aware of an alleged incident and subsequent police charges against player Tyrone Munro," the Rabbitohs said in a statement on Tuesday.
"The Club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit about the alleged incident and the charges.
"The Rabbitohs take all allegations of domestic violence very seriously and will take appropriate action if the allegations and charges are proven.
"As this is a police matter, the Rabbitohs will be making no further comment at this stage."
According to The Sydney Morning Herald and Daily Telegraph, Munro's lawyer has indicated the footballer's intent to contest the charges.
Munro signed an extension to remain at Souths through to the end of 2027 earlier this year.
