Matthew Coulthard has been rewarded with a one-year contract extension after an impressive debut season for Richmond.
Coulthard, along with fellow Tigers youngsters James Trezise and Seth Campbell have all inked extensions to remain at the club until at least the end of the 2024 season.
The 22-year-old made his AFL debut earlier in the year against Hawthorn and performed admirably coming on during the second half as the medical substitute.
Playing just under a half of football, Coulthard finished the match with seven disposals (at 100% efficiency), and a couple of influential score involvements in the Tigers' come from behind win against Hawthorn.
He kicked his first career goal at the elite level just seconds after being substituted on during his second AFL game against Melbourne a fortnight later.

Richmond General Manager of Football Talent, Blair Hartley, has been impressed with the impact Coulthard and his young teammates have had during their short times at the club.
"Matt (and James Trezise) have adapted well to the demands of AFL football, and it has been exciting to see both already receive opportunities at senior level," he said.
"These extensions are a reward for their hard work, and we look forward to seeing them back in 2024 and able to complete their first AFL pre-season, which will be greatly beneficial."
Coulthard has played four senior games in total for the Tigers, two of those as the substitute.
The South Australian played eight games in the VFL last year with his season highlight the Round 13 clash against Sandringham, where he gathered 14 disposals and kicked two goals.
Coulthard was originally drafted to the Tigers via last year's mid-season draft after playing strong football in the SANFL with Glenelg.
