Rugby star Kurtley Beale has pleaded not guilty to three charges of sexual offences, alleged to have occurred at a Sydney pub in December, according to reports.
Beale fronted Sydney's Downing Centre courts on Thursday, facing one count of sexual intercourse without consent and two counts of sexual touching.
An additional charge was withdrawn by prosecutors.
Speaking outside the court, Beale, a Darug and Kamilaroi man, said he was "devastated to be here".
"The allegation has been falsely (made) against me and the truth will come out," he said.
The 34-year-old was arrested in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs on January 20 after being stopped by police.
He was subsequently stood down by his Super Rugby club NSW Waratahs and the Wallabies.
Beale has played the majority of his career with the Waratahs along with short stints for the Melbourne Rebels and French Top14 club Racing 92, as well as making 95 appearances for the national side.
Just weeks before his arrest Beale entered the Wallabies' summer camp ahead of September's Rugby World Cup.
The matter is due to re-enter court on July 14 in preparation for trial.
