Police have issued an appeal for public assistance to locate two individuals missing in New South Wales.
The first case involves Legacy Whakaneke, a 13-year-old girl who was last seen around 8am on Tuesday, 12 November 2024, in Edensor Park, Sydney.
After her family was unable to reach her, officers from the Liverpool Police Area Command began inquiries.
Due to her young age, both police and family members are concerned for her welfare.
Legacy is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, approximately 165cm tall with a large build, black hair, and brown eyes.
She was last seen dressed in all black and carrying a small black Nike bumbag.
Legacy is known to frequent Liverpool, Fairfield, Merrylands, and Parramatta, often using the train network.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Liverpool Police or Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
In a separate case, police are searching for Izayah Paulson, a 22-year-old man from Taree, who was last seen at 1pm on Saturday, 9 November 2024, in the Taree area
His family notified the Newcastle City Police District on 12 November, prompting a search for his whereabouts.
Concerns are held for Izayah's wellbeing.
Izayah is described as of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, around 170cm tall with a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
He has a tattoo reading 'Paulson' down his spine and another with the letters 'VL' on his left hand.
Police believe he may be in the Taree or Wingham areas.
