New South Wales Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an Indigenous man missing from the state's Central Coast.
Andrew Carr, 37, was last seen on Wakehurst Drive at Wyong on Monday 12 January and has not been seen or heard from since.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts, with both police and family holding concerns for Mr Carr's welfare.
Mr Carr is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
He has a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm.
He was last seen wearing a cap and carrying a blue camping swag.
Police said Mr Carr is known to frequent public transport between Newcastle and Gosford.
