Northern Territory Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has launched an "urgent" pre-Christmas fundraising campaign, urging supporters to donate more than $125,000 towards a new political fund.

In an email to supporters on Tuesday, Senator Price - who was removed from the opposition frontbench in September after failing to back Sussan Ley's leadership - said the values of "family, community and nation" were being "eroded".

"Together we can shape a new direction for Australia, that puts these values at the centre of our politics, and our national debate, once again," she said.

"That's why today I am launching the Family, Community, Nation Fund."

Calling for $125,850 by December 31, Senator Price said the fund would "fuel the fight for the policies that will bring prosperity and freedom back to Australia".

"That means cheap energy, thriving industry, homes for young families, smaller government and real freedom, basics in schools, stronger defence, and real pride in our nation and flag," she said.

She argued she had long been "fighting for my family, my community, and my nation," referencing her opposition to the Voice referendum as well as "Net Zero and Mass Immigration".

"I took stances that did me no favours in the media or in my party," she said. "But I took them because they're true and good. Because they're what our nation needs.

"And I'm not going to be silenced."

While acknowledging that politics may not be a priority for Australians at the end of the year - and that a federal election could be as far as 30 months away - she said the campaign must begin early.

"We have to make the case now, years before the next election, so Aussies demand action on these issues before they next head to the polls," the Country Liberal Party Senator said.

"But while you can't win an election this early, you can lose it. Because if we don't start building our case for change now, by the time the next election rolls around - it'll be too late."

The fundraising email did not specify how the money would be used, though the payment link indicates donations will go to the Liberal Party of Australia.

National Indigenous Times has contacted Senator Price seeking clarification on how the funds will support her campaign goals and why $125,000 was chosen as the target.

In response to questions from the ABC about the email, Senator Price criticised the national broadcaster on social media, saying it showed "how the left media operates".

"Even on Remembrance Day. Even when they know Coalition MPs are in transit for an important policy meeting," she said. "I'm calling them out, because frankly, their behaviour is discourteous and disgusting."

She added: "More of us should call out such behaviour and not even dignify such enquiries with a response - and that's exactly what I will be doing."

Senator Price's email was sent to supporters at 6 am on Tuesday morning.

The Senator is one of the Coalition's most popular politicians and is widely supported by conservatives across the country. She has been outspoken in her criticism of net zero and mass immigration, as well as some Indigenous issues, such as the Treaty process in Victoria and the Voice referendum.
