Reconciliation WA has announced Ken Wyatt AM and Craig Foster AM will lead the National Reconciliation Week Virtual Breakfast.
Mr Wyatt and Mr Foster will speak at the organisation's flagship event that will commence on Thursday 25 May.
Reconciliation WA describe the National Reconciliation Week Virtual Breakfast as a great opportunity to reflect on achievements and set goals for the next 12 months of reconciliation action
Broadcast live from Boola Bardip WA Museum, the Breakfast will shine a light on the Voice to Parliament and the referendum, as well as the strength of the reconciliation movement in WA.
A proud Noongar, Yamatji and Wongi man, Mr Wyatt was the first Aboriginal person to be elected to the Australian House of Representatives and the first to serve as a government minister.
He went on to be the first appointed to cabinet and the first Aboriginal person to be elected as Australia's Minister for Indigenous Australians.
"If we are really to close the gap, it is about listening," said Mr Wyatt.
"Listening to the voices on the ground, there is a deafening silence when it comes to responding to the needs of Indigenous people at a community level. The Voice will allow Indigenous people to sit at the tables of government and have the conversations about our aspirations, our views, our dreams and our hopes we have for our children and grandchildren.
"This is about having the conversations that will change the way in which this nation walks together."
Accompanying Mr Wyatt is Mr Foster, human rights activist and retired Socceroos captain.
He is a member of the Australian Multicultural Council and works across a range of programs involving matters including Indigenous rights and self-determination.
"2023 is a year of extraordinary and inspiring transformation as all Australians are called to envision a country of genuine equality, dignity and respect for First Nations peoples which we have been waiting for, for so long," said Mr Foster.
"The Breakfast is an opportunity for us to come together to commit to this journey."

Reconciliation WA Co-Chair Carol Innes said reconciliation is everyone's business and accessibility is a main focus for their events across the week.
"This year National Reconciliation Week is a focal point for the conversation around The Voice and around the referendum," said Ms Innes.
"We're asking one million West Australians to join us for NRW's flagship event.
"This year's Breakfast will once again be streamed allowing anyone to participate no matter where they live in our state."
Ms Innes said National Reconciliation Week is a great opportunity for individuals, organisations and communities to set the tone for the rest of the year and refocus on their reconciliation actions.
"It's a great time to reflect on our achievements towards closing the gap," she said.
"But also an opportunity for individuals, organisations and communities to set goals for the next 12 months building on their learnings and successes from the previous year.
"The Breakfast is a fantastic event to kickstart this period of reflection for what has been achieved so far and also inspire the WA community on what could be achieved with our powerful line up of keynote speakers."
The event is supported by BHP.
