Controversial jockey Noel Callow has pled guilty to an additional charge after new footage of him racially abusing an Indigenous man emerged.

Racing Queensland had already disqualified the 50-year-old for 10 months for a separate series of videos filmed during the Darwin Cup racing carnival in July last year.

Mr Callow, who has reportedly received death threats over the footage of the public acts, unsuccessfully attempted to appeal the severity of the ban in September.

He was facing a further charge for failing to attend a stewards' inquiry on October 2, however Racing Queensland on Tuesday announced it had withdrawn the matter.

The Group 1-winning rider was ordered to attend an inquiry at the headquarters of the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission before later in the month facing stewards via a video link.

That withdrawal of the charge comes as Mr Callow accepted a new charge relating to an incident where he directed a racist slur at a man, which included mocking his appearance.

Mr Callow does not appear in the video and it remains unknown when the video was recorded, however according to Racenet, the incident also took place in Darwin's CBD.

Queensland Racing Integrity Commission released a brief statement on Tuesday on the charge of AR 228(a) against "conduct prejudicial to the image, interests, integrity or welfare of racing".

"Mr Callow has pleaded guilty, and the matter has been adjourned to allow stewards to consider a penalty," Queensland chief steward Josh Adams said.

"Stewards, additionally, have withdrawn the charge of, under AR 232(h), for failing to attend the stewards' inquiry on October 2, 2025."
