We've seen her jewellery on the likes of Narelda Jacobs, Lidia Thorpe, Chloe Hayden and Mi-kaisha, and Haus of Dizzy founder Kristy Dickinson shows no signs of slowing down.

The self-proclaimed 'Queen of Bling' comes into her Naarm-based (Melbourne) studio most days with a head full of ideas.

"Haus of Dizzy is basically me in earring form," Dickinson said.

"It's all about everything I believe in and being proud of who you are. Bright, bold, fun and tells a story. I call them my conversation starters."

The boldness of Haus of Dizzy certainly stood out when modelled alongside Ginny's Girl Gang during Melbourne Fashion Festival's Urban Oasis Runway.

Dickinson's showed her Sea Glass collection and Bamboo hoops collection.

She said creating accessories is her way of creating an affordable, fashionable option to wear.

"I've always made jewellery and I did want to do fashion like design clothing but it was too expensive," Dickinson said.

"So I thought I'd stick to accessories where it's accessible to buy and something cute for their ears rather than buying a whole outfit.

"I've just always loved wearing jewellery going out when I was younger."

It's not hard for Dickinson to come up with new concepts and ideas as she said she's inspired by the world around her.

"If I walk down the street and I see a beautiful colour flower or somebody wearing something that looks amazing and I think those colours look so good together," she said.

"But I'm also inspired by sayings people say.

"Like 'be deadly', or 'be bold' or 'be brave'."

Although her first love will always be accessories, Dickinson is planning to expand into kids wear post-Melbourne Fashion Festival, inspired by dressing her son.

"I've been working hard behind the scenes," she said.

"I'm actually going to be creating a kid's clothing range called Haus of Ziggy Lee.

"That's all in the mix and we go into production next month."

Melbourne Fashion Festival concludes March 11.
